Management
With extensive experience in venue management and operations, we understand the responsibility that comes with managing a public-facing venue. Our approach goes beyond simply operating a building; we aim to develop each venue into a successful, sustainable and well-utilised community asset that reflects positively on its owner and the wider local area.
We take a hands-on, commercially focused approach to venue management, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high standards, protecting the condition and reputation of the building, and creating a welcoming environment for customers, community groups, businesses and event organisers. We recognise that a successful venue must operate efficiently and responsibly while delivering long-term value for both its owner and the community it serves.
Our experience encompasses the full spectrum of venue operations, including day-to-day management, event planning and delivery, staffing, supplier and contractor coordination, health and safety, regulatory compliance, customer experience, facilities management and operational efficiency. We place particular importance on robust procedures, effective financial management and proactive maintenance, ensuring that risks and issues are identified early and addressed before they develop into significant problems.

Stewardship
We would be committed to working collaboratively with the owner, any existing staff, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth, professional and well-managed handover. We would take the time to understand the building, its history, current operations and established relationships before implementing any significant changes. Our priority would be to provide continuity wherever possible, while identifying practical opportunities to improve the venue’s performance, efficiency and customer experience.
We pride ourselves on building strong and constructive relationships with landlords, local authorities, suppliers, staff and the communities in which we operate. We are responsive, practical and solutions-focused, and understand the importance of maintaining open and transparent communication with the owner throughout the lease term or custodianship arrangement. We would provide regular updates, address issues proactively and work closely with the owner to ensure the venue continues to meet its objectives and responsibilities as a public-facing community asset.
Our ambition is to create a financially sustainable venue, professionally managed and actively used. By combining strong operational management with a clear vision for the future of the building, we believe we can maximise its potential, generate lasting value for the Council, strengthen its role within the community and deliver a positive return on the opportunity entrusted to us.
Ultimately, we see the lease as more than simply an opportunity to operate a venue. We see it as a responsibility to invest in, protect and develop an asset for the long term. Our aim would be to leave the venue stronger, more sustainable and better positioned to serve its community for years to come.
Investment
We recognise that continual investment is fundamental to the long-term success of any venue. In alignment with the existing commercial framework, we will work closely with the venue owner to identify, prioritise and deliver the improvements that will have the greatest impact on the facility and its customers.
Unlike many operators, our approach is to direct investment towards the areas that most directly enhance the visitor experience and strengthen the venue’s long-term performance. This includes customer amenities, technical infrastructure, production and hospitality spaces, alongside wider improvements to the facility.
Our objective is to create a venue that inspires pride within the local community while delivering a high-quality visitor experience and ensuring long-term commercial and operational sustainability.
